QUESTION: What is Virtual Web Hosting?
ANSWER:
Virtual Web Hosting basically means that you can get a domain name (www.yourname.com) and have that domain name point
to a space on our servers. This will also enable aliases for your email so that new e-mail addresses like,
yourusername@yourname.com will work.
ANSWER:ÊÊ

Service Department. A one-time $20 fee applies to downgrades on our plans.

QUESTION: Can I transfer an existing domain name to BusinessPower.com from another company?
ANSWER:
Yes. When you place an order with BusinessPower.com, you will specify whether it is a new domain name or a
transfer of an existing domain name. You should keep the service at the present site while waiting for InterNIC to complete
the transfer. When InterNIC announces the completion of the transferÊ there is a 72 hour period where visitors could go to

ANSWER:
No, BusinessPower.com does not allow the placement on our Webspace of any sexually explicit materials,
whether they be in graphical, textual, video,Ê sound, encrypted, protected, proprietary, or any other formats. While we are
committed to the protection of the free speech of our clients, we can not permit sexually explicit material on our Webspace for
many reasons. We object to the hosting of adult content on moral grounds and for the logistical problems that it would entail,
i.e. greatly fluctuating bandwidth, security problems, and legal considerations. Adult sites can place unexpected and greatly
varying demands upon the host dedicated Web server thus jeopardizing the security of all other Virtual Web ServerÊ accounts
hosted on that dedicated server.
ANSWER:
No, BusinessPower.com does not allow the Email POP3 accounts or the BusinessPower.com Email Servers to
be used for the purpose of sending unsolicited or "bulk Email". The reasons for this are quite numerous but the main problem
that this use and/or abuse would cause involves the security of our Web and Email servers against retaliatory flames, so called
Email "bombs", and various attacks, that such use would inevitably generate. While we make every effort to secure our
servers from these kinds of attacks, if we were to permit our clients to engage in "bulk Email" practices we would jeopardize
the security and integrity of the Email and Web services for all our clients.

ANSWER:
It's good security practice to limit the validity period of any certificate. Every Certificate Authority limits the
validity of its roots, so all CA's areÊ affected by root expiration and rollover. The only browser affected is Netscape Navigator
3.x. After July 27th, those users who have not goneÊ through the quick rollover process will see a dialog box stating that the
root certificate that issued this site cert has expired, and giving themÊ the option to continue or cancel. The "continue" button
will let them establish a secure session as usual. The quick rollover process eliminatesÊ these warnings till 2020.
